De meeste vogelposters koelen een ruimte af. Deze niet. De warme zandkleur achter de reigers voelt als een zonovergoten muur en geeft die gloed door aan alles eronder. Hang hem 100 cm breed boven een bed met offwhite linnen en de hele wand lijkt een graad warmer, zelfs in een noordkamer. Teal en roest in de vogels houden het geheel fris, zonder zoet te worden. Pak alleen het framboos in één kussen op en laat het daarbij. Combineer met licht eiken of essen, een gepleisterde of warmwitte muur, en vermijd koelgrijs: grijs trekt het roze richting mauve en dan verliest de compositie zijn veerkracht. Dit werk komt het beste tot zijn recht laag en breed: boven een lange bank of een hoofdbord, liever dan op een hoge wand. Op papier blijft de egale kleur strak en helder; een slanke lijst van echt hout is alle afwerking die het nodig heeft.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Botst de blush-achtergrond met een roze slaapkamer?

Dat hangt af van het roze. Tegen warme, stoffige rozen- of pleisterroze muren vloeit de ondergrond bijna samen en doen de vogels het werk, wat juist bewust oogt. Tegen koel bubblegum- of lila roze leest de zandkleur eerder modderig. Zijn je muren koel, hang hem dan op een gebroken witte muur en breng het roze via beddengoed terug.

Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een kingsize bed?

Een UK king-hoofdbord is ongeveer 150 cm breed, dus mik op een kunstwerk van 100 tot 120 cm breed. Dan blijft er aan beide kanten een handbreedte hoofdbord zichtbaar en zijn de vijf vogels groot genoeg om als losse vogels te lezen. Onder de 80 cm gaat de lijn meer op een rand lijken dan op een beeld. Laat 15 tot 20 cm tussen de bovenkant van het hoofdbord en de onderkant van de lijst.

Werkt dit in een babykamer zonder te kinderachtig te zijn?

Ja, en dat is juist een groot deel van de aantrekkingskracht. De kleuren zijn volwassen, diep framboos en teal op zand in plaats van mint en babyblauw, dus het werkt ook nog als de kamer van ledikant naar eenpersoonsbed gaat. Kinderen vinden het leuk om de vijf vogels te tellen en de verschillende kleuren te ontdekken. Hang hem iets lager dan volwassen ooghoogte, zodat een peuter de pootjes kan zien.
