How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Voelt dit niet te kinderlijk voor een volwassen woonkamer?
Het heeft een handgetekende, sprookjesachtige uitstraling, maar het palet is volwassen — diep parkgroen, koraalrood en mosterd op een warme crèmekleurige achtergrond. In een slanke zwarte lijst boven een sideboard of console oogt het als doordachte illustratie in plaats van een kinderkamerstuk, terwijl het toch warm blijft.

Welke maat werkt het best voor zo'n vierkant kunstwerk?
Medium is meestal de beste keuze. Vierkante werken komen vaak het sterkst uit als ze ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van het meubel eronder vullen — dus boven een console of laag sideboard verankert een medium formaat de muur zonder hem te overladen. Grotere maten werken goed boven een bank als de muur ruim genoeg is.

Vloekt het warme groen en koraal met mijn bestaande kleuren?
Het past prima bij muren in gebroken wit, crème en zacht salie, en bij natuurlijk hout, linnen, terracotta en aardewerk. Het kan botsen met koele grijzen, chroom en heel glanzende moderne afwerkingen, dus als je kamer koel en hoogglanzend is, is dit waarschijnlijk niet het juiste stuk.
