Koele tinten ontbreken vaak in de slaapkamer. Met warme wittinten, een eiken vloer en beige tapijt oogt de ruimte tegen de avond snel gelig. Hang dit werk boven het bed en de lavendelkleur brengt de temperatuur terug in balans. De muur erachter oogt frisser, het beddengoed witter en zelfs een tan-kleurig hoofdbord lijkt minder oranje. De mosgroene strook onderin voorkomt dat koel kil wordt, waardoor de kamer tot rust komt in plaats van af te koelen. Houd het beddengoed wit of lichtgrijs linnen en laat één kussen in pleisterkleur de warmte dragen. De breedte is hier belangrijk: bij 100 cm overspant het de breedte van het hoofdbord en leest het bed als één rustig geheel. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wordt het lavendel koud in een slaapkamer op het noorden?

Dat kan, als de muren grijs zijn of het beddengoed blauw. Noordlicht is al koel, dus dit paneel heeft warmte eromheen nodig om prettig te voelen. Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een tweepersoonsbed van kingsize?

Streef naar tussen twee derde en de volledige breedte van het hoofdbord, dus bij een standaard Britse king betekent dat minstens 100 cm breed en idealiter dichter bij 120 cm. Hang het zo dat de onderrand ongeveer een handbreedte boven het hoofdbord zit. Kleiner dan dat wordt de zachte penseelvoering vanaf de deuropening een waas, en lijkt het bed een hoed te dragen.

Botst het roze in de hoek met een groene slaapkamer?

Nee, juist niet. Salie-, olijf- en mosgroene muren halen het groen uit de onderste helft naar voren, en de kleine roze waterlelies geven een warme noot die de kamer anders zou missen. Vermijd mint of fel smaragdgroen, want die vechten met de gedempte groenen hier. Als je het roze wilt laten terugkomen, herhaal het dan één keer in een kussen of plaid en houd de rest rustig.
