In oktober komt dit stuk echt tot zijn recht. Wanneer de ochtenden grauw worden, brengt het beeld dat eerste licht terug in de slaapkamer. Hang het breed boven het hoofdeinde, gelijk met de bovenkant. De zachte roze lucht verwarmt, terwijl het gewassen blauw de ruimte rustig houdt. Combineert mooi met linnen beddengoed in haver of wit. Laat drukke kussens achterwege. Een lichtgrijze of krijtwitte muur laat de mist visueel voorbij de randen lopen, waardoor de wand groter aanvoelt. In het voorjaar nemen de blauwtinten het over en oogt het fris in plaats van knus – precies de kracht van een beeld dat met het licht mee verandert. Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Botst het roze in de lucht met een grijze slaapkamer?
Nee, en grijs is juist waar het het beste werkt. Het roze is stoffig in plaats van zoet, dichter bij pleister dan bij blush, en zit in een lucht die vooral vervaagd blauw en mauvegrijs is. Tegen een lichtgrijze muur leest het roze als warmte in plaats van kleur. Houd het beddengoed in oat of wit en de kamer blijft rustig met een beetje ochtendgloed.

Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een kingsize bed?
Richt op twee derde van de bedbreedte, dus ongeveer 120 cm breed op een standaard king. De vogels spreiden zich over de hele lengte en hebben die breedte nodig om hun onderlinge afstand goed te houden, en de mist heeft ruimte nodig om aan de uiteinden weg te vallen. Zet de onderrand ongeveer een handbreedte boven het hoofdbord en laat de rest van de muur leeg.

Werkt het in een huis zonder andere land- of wildlife-werken?
Ja. De losse penseelvoering en het zachte palet lezen eerst als landschap en pas daarna als wildlife, dus het past prima in een eenvoudig transitional of Scandinavisch interieur zonder jacht- en hondencontext. Het staat mooi bij licht hout, linnen en geverfde muren. Waar het minder goed werkt is naast fel grafisch werk of sterke oranje en rode kleurenschema's, die de lucht plat maken.
