Over dit kunstwerk
Er is een reden dat grafische kunstenaars in een vlakke stijl steeds terugkeerden naar het hortensiaboeket; kamers reageren er nog altijd op. De vormen zijn eenvoudig, de kleuren liggen rustig bij elkaar en het oog komt tot rust.
Wat verandert in de ruimte is de sfeer. Een wand die wat vlak aanvoelde pikt het zachtroze en limoengroen op, en ineens lijken het houtwerk, de gordijnen en het vloerkleed bewust gekozen.
Het werk verdient zijn plek boven een console in de hal, op de schoorsteenmantel in de slaapkamer, of op de korte wand in de woonkamer waar je een rustig focuspunt wilt in plaats van een schreeuwerige blikvanger.
Combineer met geschilderd hout, riet of rotan, zacht linnen en keramiek in crème of oudroze. Een eenvoudige eiken of zwarte lijst houdt de grafische randen scherp.
Wat je beter niet doet: zet het niet tussen andere drukke bloemenprints of sterk patroonbehang. Dit werk heeft graag wat ademruimte.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the pink read as soft or bright in real life?
It reads soft. The two pink hydrangea heads are a pale dusty pink rather than a hot pink, so the print lifts a pale wall without dominating the room. The lime green pom-pom is the brightest note — it's a small accent rather than the main event.
Will the bright green leaves clash with sage or olive walls?
The leaves are a clean, fresh green rather than a muted sage, so on a deep olive wall the contrast can feel sharper than expected. It's happiest on pale walls — off-white, plaster pink, soft grey, or a very pale green. On strong painted walls, test the colour first.
Is it tall enough to work above a bed?
In a medium or large size, yes. The bouquet is upright and the urn gives it a clear base, so it reads well above a single or double headboard. For a king or super-king, consider the large size, or pair two prints side by side rather than one alone.
