Deze canvas trekt meteen de blik naar zich toe: het warme oranje valt als eerste op, nog vóór bank en raam. Daardoor voelt de rest van de ruimte rustiger aan. Het stuk komt het mooist uit tegen donker teal; de ondergrond verdwijnt bijna, waardoor de gloed als het ware op de muur hangt. Een houtskoolgrijze of offwhite muur werkt bijna net zo goed. Hang boven een leren bank of een lage notenhouten sideboard, gecentreerd, met de onderrand ongeveer een hand boven het meubel. Kies groot. Op 80 cm vierkant trekt de diagonaal de blik al van de deuropening naar binnen; op 40 cm is het een keurig vierkant waar niemand voor oploopt. Houd verlichting warm en laag. Eén roestkleurig kussen is genoeg oranje in de ruimte zodra dit hangt. Op canvas komen de dikke messtreken voelbaar over, zonder glas tussen jou en de verf.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Botst het oranje met een tan leren bank?

Nee, dat is juist een van de beste plekken ervoor. Tan leer zit tussen het oranje en het warme bruin in het schilderij, waardoor de bank aanvoelt als onderdeel van hetzelfde geheel in plaats van als tegenstander. Houd kussens in roest, crème of diep teal en de muur rustig. De combinatie die je beter vermijdt is rode of roze bekleding, want die gaat in discussie met het oranje in plaats van ermee samen te gaan.

Moet het op een donkere muur, of werkt het ook op wit?

Het werkt op allebei, maar het effect is anders. Op diep teal of antraciet loopt de ondergrond in de muur over en lijkt het oranje te zweven, wat het sterkste effect is vanuit een deuropening. Op gewoon wit of gebroken wit zie je de vierkante rand en leest het werk als een uitgesproken object aan de muur. Geef het in beide gevallen de muur voor zichzelf en houd kleuren in de buurt rustig.

Welke maat heb ik nodig boven een driezitsbank?

Richt op 80 cm vierkant of groter boven een standaard driezitsbank. De diagonale veeg trekt je oog door de kamer, en onder ongeveer 60 cm wordt het een klein vierkant dat niemand vanaf de deur opmerkt. Centreer het boven de bank, met de onderrand ongeveer een handbreed boven de rugkussens. Is de muur breder dan 2,5 m, kies dan liever een grotere maat dan een tweede werk toe te voegen.
