Geef je gang eindelijk sfeer. Deze canvas met maan boven lila vierkanten brengt het gevoel van de laatste tien minuten van een zomerse avond naar binnen. De lila tint koelt een warme gang zonder het kil te maken, terwijl perziktonen een koude ruimte juist verwarmen. Hang het werk hoog en smal naast de trap, op ooghoogte, met eenvoudig offwhite eromheen. Terracottategels of een roestkleurig loper pakken dezelfde warmte op. Houd het licht zacht: één wandlamp erboven in plaats van een plafondlamp laat de dikke penseelstreken schaduwen vangen en geeft de gang rust. Laat de rest van de muur leeg voor maximale impact. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wordt het lilac koud in een hal op het noorden?

Minder dan je zou verwachten. Het lilac wordt omringd door peach, coral en mustard, waardoor de totale indruk warm blijft, zelfs in vlak noordlicht. Schilder de muur in gebroken wit met een warme ondertoon in plaats van blauw-wit, en gebruik een warme lamp in de dichtstbijzijnde lichtbron. Dan leest het lilac als avondsfeer in plaats van kilte.

Hoe hoog moet ik gaan op een smalle muur?

Ga hoger dan je instinct zegt. Op een muur van 60 tot 100 cm breed vult een stuk van ongeveer 90 tot 120 cm hoog de hoogte en laat het aan beide kanten een comfortabele marge over. Onder de 70 cm vervagen de kleine vakken tot een algemeen roze en raken de boom en maan verloren. Centreer hem op ooghoogte en laat de rest van de muur leeg.

Werkt dit in een slaapkamer met gewoon wit beddengoed?

Ja, en het beddengoed helpt daarbij. Witte of gebroken witte linnen stoffen geven het peach en lilac een rustige plek, waardoor de kleur ontspannen aanvoelt in plaats van luid. Hang het aan de muur tussen het raam en de kledingkast, of naast het bed in plaats van erboven, omdat de hoge vorm goed past bij een smalle verticale ruimte. Voeg één lilac of rustkleurig kussen toe om de twee samen te brengen.
