Kies het frame vóór de muur. Met zwart krijgt het oranje een strakke rand: het geheel leest als een poster en blijft krachtig tegen een witte stucmuur op de overloop. Met wit verdwijnt de rand, vloeit de kleur subtiel een lichte hal in en voelt de ruimte warmer dan je verwacht. Goud maakt het sierlijker en botst met de knipvormen. Zwart wint. Hang hem hoog op de smalle wand tussen twee deuren, onderrand rond heuphoogte, zodat het geel op ooghoogte zit als je de trap op loopt. Teak in de buurt haalt het oranje op. Eén kobaltblauwe kussen op de stoel op de overloop doet de rest. Geen patronen binnen een meter. Op canvas lopen de kleuren tot aan de rand en sluit een zwart frame naadloos aan, klaar om op te hangen.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Botst het oranje met een terracotta tegelvloer in de hal?
Het houdt beter stand dan je misschien denkt. Het oranje hier is warmer en feller dan de meeste vloertegels, dus het leest als een aparte kleur in plaats van een verkeerd gekozen match. Het kobalt en geel zorgen voor het onderscheid. Houd de muur tussen vloer en afbeelding wit of gebroken wit, en sla oranje of roestkleurige verf over, dan passen de twee prima bij elkaar.
Hoe groot moet ik gaan op een trappenoverloop?
Ga groter dan veilig voelt. Op een overloop kijk je ernaar vanaf de onderkant van de trap, vaak drie of vier meter verderop, en op die afstand wordt een kleine hoge poster een streep. Mik op minstens 80 cm hoog, meer als het plafond dat toelaat, en laat aan beide kanten duidelijke muurruimte over zodat de staande vorm herkenbaar blijft.
Werkt het in een kamer met grijze muren?
Ja, en grijs is een van de betere achtergronden hiervoor. Een middel- of lichtgrijze muur koelt het oranje iets af en laat het kobaltblauw meer naar voren komen, waardoor het geheel meer mid-century en minder tropisch aanvoelt. Vermijd warm greige, dat maakt de oranje rand dof. Combineer met een grijze bank en één mosterdkleurig kussen en de kamer komt tot rust.
