How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Leest het als een Duitse staande korthaar of gewoon als een generieke hond?

De lange snuit, hangoren en gespikkelde borst zijn allemaal kenmerken van de pointer, dus liefhebbers van het ras herkennen het meestal meteen. Het is wel een gestileerd folkportret en geen rasstudie, dus de markeringen zijn vereenvoudigd tot vlakke vormen. Eigenaren van leverkleur-witte en zwart-witte honden herkennen hun hond er vaak in.

Ziet mosterd en crème er flets uit op een donkere muur?

Nee, het werkt juist beter. Tegen diep groen, klei of antracietverf tilt de crème achtergrond het werk op en wordt het mosterd warmer, terwijl de rode halsband het felste punt blijft. Als je muur erg donker is, houdt een smalle zwarte lijst de randen netjes in plaats van de crème te laten zweven.

Is een vierkant stuk lastig op te hangen boven meubels?

Helemaal niet, het heeft alleen de juiste breedte nodig. Boven een console, kast of sideboard mik je op een stuk van ongeveer twee derde van de meubelbreedte en laat je ongeveer 15-20 cm tussen de bovenkant van het meubel en de onderrand. Op een kale halmuur centreer je het op ooghoogte en houd je de ruimte eromheen vrij.
