Teal koelt, koraal verwarmt – deze canvas doet beide. In een witte betegelde badkamer leest de teal als water: fris en kalm zonder klinisch te worden. In een kinderkamer met grenen of licht geschilderde meubels wint het koraal, waardoor de wand warmer aanvoelt dan de verf. De octopus is de blikvanger; meer hoeft niet. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Maakt de teal een kleine badkamer donker?

Niet als de muren en tegels wit zijn. De teal is een blauwgroene tint met gemiddelde diepte, en tegen witte tegels oogt hij als waterkleur, niet als schaduw. Problemen ontstaan pas bij crèmekleurige of beige tegels, waar de teal modderig wordt. Houd de rest van de ruimte licht en het beeld voelt het helderst aan in de kamer.

Is dit te uitgesproken voor een babykamer?

Dat hangt van de muur af. Boven een ledikant wil je misschien iets zachters, omdat de rode kleur levendig is en niet slaperig. Aan de muur tegenover het ledikant, of boven een commode, geeft het een baby iets duidelijk om naar te kijken en geeft het de kamer een kleur om op voort te bouwen. Het groeit ook mee met het kind, wat pastelkleurige prints vaak niet doen.

Welke maat werkt het best in een kinderkamer?

Ongeveer 50 tot 60 cm vierkant boven een eenpersoonsbed, of 70 cm boven een tweepersoonsbed. De octopus heeft genoeg ruimte nodig om zijn armen te spreiden, dus alles onder 40 cm maakt hem tot een klein vlekje op een grote muur. Hang hem lager dan je voor volwassenen zou doen, zodat een kind in bed hem op ooghoogte ziet.
