How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Zijn de kleine sterpunten nog zichtbaar van verder weg?
De grotere sterren en de verbindingslijnen zijn goed leesbaar vanaf een paar meter, dus de vorm van Vissen blijft duidelijk. De fijne streepjes rond de ring en de kleinste stippen zijn details die je van dichtbij ziet. Daarom past hij beter in een werkkamer, hal of bij het bed dan op een verre muur in een grote open ruimte.

Werkt het ook als ik geen zwart in de kamer heb?
Ja, en vaak ziet het er juist beter uit. De donkere schijf wordt dan het ene sterke punt in een neutrale kamer in plaats van iets wat met de rest concurreert. Wil je dat het meer samenhangt, laat het dan terugkomen in één klein item in de buurt — een lampvoet, een dienblad van donker hout, zwarte metalen plankdragers — en laat de rest zoals het is.

Kan ik de andere sterrenbeelden ernaast hangen, of wordt het dan te veel hetzelfde?
Die passen goed samen omdat de opzet consistent is — dezelfde cirkel, ring en aanduiding op elk teken. Met twee of drie naast elkaar oogt het bewust, als een set kaarten. Hang ze gelijkmatig op in een rij of strak raster, en geef de groep aan beide kanten wat lege muur zodat de herhaling juist doordacht overkomt.
