How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Zijn de dunne lijnen nog goed zichtbaar van verder weg in de kamer?

Ja, op middelgroot formaat. De herhaalde lijnen vloeien op afstand samen tot zachte banen warme kleur, en de vorm van de zon blijft duidelijk zichtbaar. Vanaf ongeveer 1,5 tot 3 meter krijg je beide: de totale compositie en de fijne details. Op heel grote formaten kan het lage contrast wat vaag worden, dus medium is de veiligere keuze.

Werkt het op een warm gebroken witte of crème muur, of valt het weg?

Het werkt goed op warm gebroken wit en lichte pleisterwanden, omdat de terracottalijnen duidelijk dieper zijn dan de achtergrond. Op een beige muur die er heel dichtbij zit, kan het vlakker ogen, dus een smalle lijst of float-rand helpt om het te scheiden. Tegen klei, zacht wit of rustige greige muren komt het duidelijk over.

Kan ik het als duo met een ander werk ophangen?

Zeker. Omdat de compositie gecentreerd en symmetrisch is, voelen twee vierkanten naast elkaar bewust en niet toevallig. Kies een tweede werk met dezelfde warme crèmekleurige basis en een eenvoudig motief — een boog, een horizonlijn, een enkel blad.
