Somewhere between Matisse-inspired cut-out simplicity and loose brushwork, this abstract pattern refuses to behave. The stripes want to stand to attention; the curls keep wandering off. Put it up and a plain wall stops feeling empty without getting loud — you get movement, texture and warmth in one go. It works above a bed, along a hallway, or between two windows where the vertical rhythm has room to run. Pair it with linen, pale wood, rattan and stoneware, and let the wall behind stay chalky off-white or soft sand. What not to do: crowd it with busy florals or bright graphic prints. This one needs breathing space to read properly. On premium fine-art paper the brush edges and paper-like texture stay crisp and soft-focus at once.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too plain in a room that's already all beige and cream?
It shouldn't. The piece works on texture rather than colour, so against a beige wall you still get the vertical rhythm and the thick brush marks. If your room is very tonal, go up a size and keep the surrounding wall clear — the scale is what gives it presence rather than contrast.
Does the pattern line up if I hang two side by side?
It won't tile seamlessly — the stripes are painted freehand, so the edges don't match up. Two of the same size hung with a 5-8cm gap still reads well as a pair, because the eye follows the vertical rhythm rather than looking for a join. Keep both the same orientation.
How close do you need to be for the brushwork to show?
From across a room you mainly see the stripes and the warm sandy tone. From about a metre and a half in you start to pick up the dry brush edges and the slight texture of the ground. That's why it suits hallways and bedside walls, where people pass or sit close to it.
