Nothing in this black, grey and white botanical whispers, even when the study does. One big fig leaf, painted in ink, holds a wall on its own without adding a single colour to the room. Put it above a desk, in a narrow hallway, or between two windows where the white background can borrow daylight. It sits happily with pale wood, black metal, linen and plain ceramics, and it gives a quiet room a bit of backbone. Keep the wall around it clear; this one loses its punch if you crowd it with busy pattern or lots of small frames. On fine-art paper the soft ink washes and fine leaf veins stay crisp against the white.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too stark on a white wall?
It sits well on white because the background disappears and the leaf reads as a shape on the wall. If you want more definition, a black frame gives the piece a clear edge. On soft grey or a darker painted wall the white background lifts and the whole thing looks brighter and more graphic.
Can I hang it as a pair with another leaf print?
Yes, and it works nicely that way. Choose a second botanical of the same size, also in black and grey ink, and hang the two with a gap of roughly 5 to 10cm so the white backgrounds join up. Keep both stems pointing the same way rather than mirroring them, which can look fussy.
Is it strong enough to be the only art in a room?
In a small or medium room, yes. The leaf is large in the frame and the ink is dark enough to hold attention from across the space. In a big open-plan room it works better going up a size, or paired with one or two other monochrome pieces so it does not look lost on a wide wall.
