Kies: met zwarte lijst of zonder. In een zwarte lijst lopen de inktlijnen door tot de rand en oogt het geheel als één slanke grafische kolom – precies wat een smalle strook muur naast de keukendeur nodig heeft. Zonder lijst vloeit de zanderige ondergrond over in een pleistermuur, waardoor oranje en teal los lijken te zweven. Beide opties werken; kies op basis van de muur. Geschilderd pleister in gebroken wit vraagt om de zwarte rand voor extra definitie. Een al wit betegelde of glanzend groene muur is rustiger met de zachtere, ongelijste uitvoering zodat de keuken niet drukker wordt. Houd de breedte eerlijk: op 40 cm pakt hij nog steeds de hele hal vanaf het einde. Hang hem met de bovenzijde net boven ooghoogte en geef hem de volledige nis. Op premium fine-art papier met acrylaatglas blijven de zwarte lijnen haarscherp, al vanaf de deuropening.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Botst het oranje met een houten keuken?

Tegen licht eiken of berken past hij juist mooi, omdat de zandkleurige achtergrond dicht bij de houttoon ligt en het oranje als één warm accent leest. Tegen donker noten- of kersenhout wordt hij warmer en kan de keuken zwaarder aanvoelen. Als je kasten donker zijn, hang hem dan op een wit of beige geschilderde muur weg van het hout en laat de teal schaal het geheel afkoelen.

Hoe breed moet hij zijn voor een hal?

Richt op minimaal 40 cm breed, dat geeft in dit formaat ongeveer 80 cm hoogte. Kleiner en de zwarte lijnen vervagen vanaf de voordeur tot één donkere kras. In een lange gang kun je beter 50 cm breed gaan, zodat de gestapelde vormen van achterin duidelijk leesbaar blijven. Laat aan beide kanten een handbreedte vrije muur zodat de hoge vorm echt opvalt.

Is hij niet te druk voor een kleine keuken?

De achtergrond is grotendeels effen zand, dus meer dan de helft van het oppervlak is rustig, ook al is het midden levendig. In een kleine keuken werkt het het best als hij op een muur hangt waar verder niets staat en het werkblad eronder vrij blijft. Zie hem als het ene opvallende element in de ruimte, dan voelt een compacte keuken bewust ingericht in plaats van rommelig.
