How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Does the print show the town name on it?

Yes — 'CHAMONIX' and 'FRANCE' sit in white block lettering across the lower section of the design, so it reads clearly as a travel poster. If you want the text to feel less prominent, hang it slightly higher than eye level so the mountains carry the room and the lettering sits as a footnote.

Will the cool blue palette feel cold in a north-facing room?

It can if the rest of the room is also cool and white. Balance it with warm wood, a wool throw, brass or a soft lamp nearby. In a warmer room with oak or terracotta, the blues read fresh rather than chilly.

Is this better solo or in a set with other travel prints?

Both work. Solo, it holds a hallway or above a console as a single statement. In a set, pair it with other graphic travel posters in similar weight and palette — too many busy posters at once and the wall starts shouting.
