How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink background clash with warm white or cream walls?
No — the pink in this portrait reads as a warm, dusty tone, closer to plaster than to candy pink. It sits comfortably against off-white, cream and putty walls, and actually warms them up. Avoid hanging it against a cool blue-grey wall, where the pink will feel out of place.
Is the sitter's gaze too intense for a bedroom?
Her expression is calm and thoughtful rather than confrontational, but she does hold the room. If you want a bedroom to feel restful, hang her on a side wall rather than directly facing the bed, or choose a smaller size so she reads as a quiet presence rather than a focal point.
What size works best above a standard sofa?
A medium portrait in portrait orientation usually sits best above a three-seater sofa, centred with around a hand's width between the bottom of the frame and the sofa back. Going too large can make the sitter feel looming; too small and she gets lost above the upholstery.
