Zoek je warmte voor een koele hal? Deze poster in rijk okergeel laat de muur direct gloeien, nog vóór je de hond ziet. Oker werkt beter dan bijna elke verfkleur en vult hier het grootste deel van het beeld. Hang hem tegenover de deur: zelfs bij noordlicht voelt de gang meteen een tikje warmer. De navyblauwe stippen houden het fris en voorkomen dat het zoet wordt. Mooi met krijtwitte wanden en een licht houten bankje eronder, zonder andere kleuren die met het geel concurreren. In een kinderkamer hangt hij speels boven een lage boekenkast. Houd hem op ooghoogte: van een afstand lees je de hond als vorm, en precies daar valt de knipoog. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wordt het mosterdgeel niet te sterk in een kleine kamer?

In een kleine kamer doet de achtergrondkleur het meeste werk, dus houd de rest van de muur rustig. Mosterd op wit of grijs werkt als een warme lamp in plaats van een felle verfkleur. Op 40 tot 50 cm vierkant houdt hij een hal of kleine kamer in balans zonder die te overheersen. Ga alleen groter als de muur leeg is en het meubel eronder licht van kleur is.

Past dit in een volwassen kamer of is het alleen voor kinderen?

Het past in allebei. De vlakke vormen en navy stippen lezen grafisch in plaats van schattig, dus het staat prima in een hal, studeerkamer of woonkamer met Scandinavische of mid-century meubels. In een kinderkamer is de hond het punt. In een volwassen kamer is de kleur het punt, en de hond is waar bezoekers om glimlachen.

Welke muurkleur werkt het best erachter?

Gebroken wit, krijtwit of een lichte koele grijstint laten het mosterd oplichten en geven het marineblauw iets om tegen af te steken. Warm crème maakt het geel iets vlakker, waardoor het minder levendig oogt. Donkerblauwe muren geven een dramatisch effect als de kamer goed licht heeft. Vermijd oranje, terracotta of warme houten wandpanelen direct erachter, die twee gelen botsen.
