How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Zal dit er verwassen uitzien op een crème- of magnolia-muur?

Het oogt zacht, en dat is precies de bedoeling, maar het heeft wel een beetje scheiding nodig. De bloem zit in de onderste hoek — hoe hang ik hem zo op dat het er bedoeld uitziet?

Zie de lege boven-linkerhoek als onderdeel van de compositie, niet als een fout. Centreer het werk op de muur of boven meubels zoals je normaal zou doen en geef veel vrije ruimte boven. Vermijd het tussen hoge objecten te schuiven, want alles dat de bovenste helft dichtdringt werkt tegen de open ruimte waar de tak in groeit.

Is het sterk genoeg om op zichzelf te werken op een grote muur?

Solo, ja, als je voor een grotere maat gaat. In kleine formaten verliest de bleekere achtergrond z’n werking vanaf een afstand, dus een middelgroot of groot formaat werkt beter boven een bed of dressoir. Op een zeer brede muur combineer je het met één ander rustig werk in plaats van een klein formaat uit te rekken om de ruimte te vullen.
