How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Zal de lichte linkerkant eruitzien als lege muur?

Het leest als bewuste ruimte, niet als een leegte, omdat de rand van de waaier een duidelijke curve door die ruimte trekt. Geef het werk ruimte aan die kant en hang het iets uit het midden boven meubels. Op een zeer brede muur kun je het combineren met één rustiger print zodat het lege vlak iets heeft om tegenaan te staan.

Blijft het detail duidelijk op een kleinere maat?

Het blijft goed zichtbaar op middelgrote formaten, waar de meeste mensen voor kiezen. Ga kleiner en de fijne veerlijnen en het bladwerk beginnen van afstand te vervloeien, dus houd kleinere maten voor plekken die van dichtbij bekeken worden zoals een bureauwand, gang of plankrand.

Past het in een ruimte met veel patroon?

Dat kan, zolang het patroon zacht is. Bloemen, ruiten en geweven structuren in crème, groen of klei passen goed. Sterke geometrische behangpatronen of flinke strepen concurreren met de fijne lijnvoering, dus geef het werk een rustigere muurvlakte in een drukke kamer.
