Eerste indruk: warm crème. Kijk nog eens en je ziet de windhond slimmer in actie. De hond is halverwege zijn sprint, langgerekt over het vierkant, en die beweging tilt de hele ruimte mee. Muren die eerst stil voelden, krijgen ineens richting. Ideaal in een gang waar je kunst vaak slechts vluchtig ziet, maar net zo sterk boven een lage kast in de woonkamer of achter een bureau in de werkkamer. Combineer eenvoudig: donker hout, cognackleurig leer, wol of linnen, één pot van steengoed. De enkele oranje halsband is het enige felle accent dat nodig is—houd andere sterke kleuren en drukke patronen achterwege. Op papier blijft de gedrukte korrel in de achtergrond scherp en dicht bij het origineel.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is de achtergrond effen crème of ziet die er getextureerd uit?

Hij oogt als een warme, licht gespikkelde crème, net als oud gedrukt papier. Die korrel hoort bij het ontwerp, dus die blijft zichtbaar in elk formaat. Op papier blijft hij fijn en scherp; op canvas maakt de weving hem iets zachter en meer geweven. Hoe dan ook past hij mooi naast krijtwitte en havermoutkleurige muren.

Botst de oranje halsband met een rode of roze kamer?

Ja, maar dan vooral als de kamer koud roze of blauwgetint rood heeft. De oranje tint is meer roestig en baksteenachtig dan fel, dus hij past goed bij terracotta, roest en warm bruin. Tegen koel roze kan hij wat minder mooi uitkomen. Is je kamer koel roze, test hem dan eerst naast je kussens of verf, of hang hem op een muur weg van die tinten.

Werkt dit als vierkant op een brede muur?

Ja, maar geef hem dan wel steun. Eén vierkant op een heel brede muur kan wat verloren lijken, dus ga óf voor een groot formaat, zet hem gecentreerd boven een smaller meubel zoals een dressoir of stoel, of combineer hem met één of twee andere vierkanten op een rij. Boven een bank kun je beter groot dan middelgroot kiezen.
