How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Lijkt het rood niet te fel in een kleine woonkamer?

Juist in een kleine ruimte werkt het vaak het best. Eén sterk rood op een witte muur voelt als een bewuste keuze, terwijl meerdere kleine rode accenten rommelig ogen. Houd bank, vloerkleed en gordijnen in grijs, navy of crème en het rood wordt het enige warme element in de kamer. Vermijd het alleen als de muren zelf al diep gekleurd zijn, want dan verliest het zijn scherpte.

Hoe breed moet dit boven een standaard driezitsbank zijn?

Een driezitsbank is meestal 200 tot 220 cm breed. Richt je erop dat de poster ongeveer twee derde daarvan beslaat, dus 120 tot 150 cm breed, met de onderkant zo’n 20 cm boven de rugkussens. Smaller dan dat lijkt hij te zweven. De 2:1-verhouding houdt de hoogte bescheiden bij die breedte, zodat hij een laag plafond niet te veel domineert.

Past dit in een kinderkamer of is het meer iets voor volwassenen?

Beide kan prima. Kinderen reageren op het paard en het rood zonder dat er iets schattigs aan is toegevoegd, en er staat geen tekst op, geen cartoongezicht en niets waar ze uit groeien. In een woonkamer of studeerkamer leest hetzelfde beeld als een grafische poster. De enige plek waar hij te levendig kan voelen is een slaapkamer bedoeld voor diepe rust, waar het rood ’s nachts helder blijft.
