Het mooist op krijtwitte, licht getextureerde muren. Combineer met terracottategels of een houten vloer en houd de inrichting rustig—een enkel schoenenrek is genoeg. Jassen in oktober vallen vanzelf in dezelfde baksteentinten. Kies een formaat waarbij de hoogte belangrijker is dan de breedte. Hang de bovenrand net boven ooghoogte voor een optisch hogere wand, en laat die muur verder leeg. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Kleurt het roestrood niet vloekend bij een warme hal?

Dat hangt af van hoe warm de muur is. Tegen crème, gebroken wit, steen of lichtgrijs steekt het rood mooi af en doet de zwarte lijn de rest. Op een muur die al terracotta, baksteen of pleisterroze is geschilderd, gaat het lichaam van de stier op in de verf en verlies je de vorm. Is je hal warm, hang hem dan op de lichtste muur die je hebt, of op de muur die het minst direct zonlicht krijgt.

Hoe hoog hang ik hem in een trappenhuis?

Hoger dan je denkt, en dan nog iets lager. Op een trappenbordes zet je het midden op ooghoogte voor iemand die op het bordes staat, niet voor iemand op de trap eronder. Zo leest de hoge vorm helemaal mee terwijl je omhoog loopt. Laat aan beide kanten minstens een meter vrije muur, zodat de horens de ruimte hebben. Eén werk op die muur, verder niets.

Werkt dit in een keuken met houten kasten?

Ja, zolang het hout licht of middentoon is. Eiken-, essen- en berkenkasten laten het roestrood mooi naar voren komen en houden de zwarte lijn scherp. Donker notenhout of gebeitste kasten maken het contrast vlak en dan wordt het geheel wat modderig. Hang het op de smalle muur aan het einde van een rij kasten, weg van de kookplaat, waar stoom en spetters er niet bij komen.
