How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Zien de fijne strepen en letters er nog goed uit van een afstand?

Ja van dichtbij en middellange afstand. De roestkleurige letters, paarse figuur, rode vogels en zwarte slang zijn klein maar duidelijk gedefinieerd tegen de bleke achtergrond. Vanaf meer dan twee à drie meter leest het als een zacht neutraal vlak met warme accenten, wat verklaart waarom het goed werkt in een studeerkamer of slaapkamer waar je er dichtbij bent.

Ziet de rafelige stofrand in de print terug?

Ja. Het origineel is geschilderd op jute-achtig doek en de rafelige zandkleurige rand maakt deel uit van de compositie, dus die is trouw gereproduceerd. Het geeft het werk een zachte natuurlijke aflijning en betekent dat het geen zware lijst nodig heeft — een smalle eiken- of bruine houten omlijsting is meestal voldoende.

Is dit te rustig voor een grote muur in de woonkamer?

Op zichzelf in medium formaat mogelijk wel. Het is een bedachtzaam, close-up werk in plaats van een statement-anker. Voor een grotere muur kun je ofwel kiezen voor een groter vierkant formaat, het combineren met één of twee metgezellen in warme neutrale tinten, of het ophangen in een kleinere ruimte zoals een studie, leeshoek of slaapkamer waar de schaal beter voelt.
