How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the cream background actually warm, or closer to white?
It's a warm, soft cream — not bright white and not beige. It reads as friendly and slightly sun-warmed, which is why the rust and mustard sit so comfortably on top. Next to a cool-white wall it will look noticeably warmer; next to a magnolia or off-white wall it blends naturally.
Will this still suit the room once my child is older?
Yes. The illustration style is folk rather than baby-cute, and the palette is grown-up enough to carry through to a five- or six-year-old's room. Swap the cot for a low bookshelf or single bed beneath it and the print still works without feeling outgrown.
Does it work alone or do I need to hang another print with it?
It works happily on its own above a cot, dresser or reading chair. If you want company, pair it with one quieter piece — a small botanical or a simple moon-and-stars print in the same earthy palette — rather than another busy animal scene.
