How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Werkt zo’n sterk blauw in een kamer met grijze muren?

Ja, zolang het grijs zacht is en niet staalachtig. De warme wittinten en roze bloesem zorgen dat het blauw niet koud aanvoelt, en een lichtgrijze muur laat het beeld naar voren komen zonder te schreeuwen. Als je grijs zelf naar blauw neigt, hang het stuk dan in een witte lijst voor een duidelijke rand.

Is een vierkante vorm lastig boven een bank?

Niet als je groot genoeg gaat. Een vierkant werkt goed gecentreerd boven een bank voor twee of drie personen als het ongeveer de helft tot twee derde van de bankbreedte beslaat. Kleiner begint verloren te ogen, dus kies liever groter dan kleiner, en houd de onderrand ongeveer 25 cm boven de kussens.

Er zit veel detail in — voelt het niet te druk in een kleine kamer?

Het is een druk beeld, dus geef het ruimte. In een kleine keuken of hal hang je het op een verder lege lichte muur en houd je de planken eromheen simpel. Vanaf ongeveer anderhalve meter afstand vallen het dorp en de zee samen tot duidelijke kleurvlakken in plaats van rommelige details.
