How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft cream background look washed out on a white wall?
It works better than you'd think. The cream is warmer than most painted whites, so it reads as a soft contrast rather than disappearing. On warm white or pale plaster walls it feels grounded; on very cool bright white walls a slim oak or brown frame helps it sit forward.
Is the bird the main focus or the flowers?
Both share the frame. The sparrow sits low on a small stone in the bottom third, with the pink orchids and berry sprigs rising above. It reads as a balanced naturalist study rather than a portrait of one or the other, which is why it suits taller, narrower walls.
Does it work in a modern room or only in country interiors?
It crosses over well. In organic-modern rooms with linen, pale wood and stoneware it adds quiet detail without feeling fussy. Keep the frame slim and the surrounding wall calm, and it sits happily next to more modern furniture.
