Morris tekende dit patroon om een hele kamer te bekleden. Als poster heeft één hoge baan de visuele kracht van zes gewone prints en vraagt hij om een eigen muur. Hang hem op de overloop, op ooghoogte vanaf de onderste trap. Een matte gebroken wit of krijtachtig nachtblauw accentueert de stoffige roze druiven. Houd de traploper rustig; strepen of patronen maken de hal binnen een week onrustig. Geschilderd hout, één messing haak en een plant in een terracotta pot zijn genoeg. Het olijfgroen geeft diepte in een schemerige trapopgang en komt beter tot zijn recht zonder concurrentie. Op papier in een bruine lijst oogt het als een paneel, recht uit het originele behang gesneden.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Maakt het donkere marineblauw een kleine gang donkerder?

Minder dan je zou verwachten. De olijfgroene bladeren zijn het lichtste deel van het ontwerp en er zitten er veel in, dus vanaf het einde van een gang leest het paneel als groen loof met diepte erachter. Hang het tegenover een raam of onder een plafondlamp en de roze druiven komen ook naar voren. Op een witte muur oogt het donkerder dan op een muur in een middenkleur.

Welke maat werkt op een trapmuur?

Kies liever hoog dan breed. Het ontwerp is een behangrapport, dus vanaf 100 cm hoogte of meer leest het als een paneel van het echte werk en zitten de druiven op natuurlijke schaal. Onder 60 cm krimpt het patroon tot textuur en verlies je de bladeren. Meet de muur tussen de trapleuning en het plafond en gebruik ongeveer twee derde daarvan.

Kan ik er twee samen ophangen?

Ja, en dat is de uitzondering om hem niet solo te hangen. Twee identieke panelen aan weerszijden van een deuropening of schoorsteenwand werken als een paar gordijnen, en door het rapport sluiten ze aan bij de randen. Houd de afstand ertussen minstens zo breed als één paneel en laat de muur boven de deur leeg, zodat het paar als een bewust kader leest.
