De meeste kamers hebben smaak, maar missen lef. Grijze bank, offwhite muren, veilig kleed – alles wacht op een keuze. Deze poster maakt ’m. Eén mosterdgele veeg op een lichte ondergrond, vierkant boven de bank, en ineens voelt dat grijs gekozen in plaats van vanzelfsprekend. Kies groot. Rond 80 cm lees je de streken echt als verf, met reliëf en richting, zodat de muur de hand van de maker krijgt die effen kleur nooit geeft. Mooi met een linnen bank in steen- of houtskooltint, tegen een betonnen of licht gestucte muur – en verder nergens anders geel in zicht. Ook sterk in de hal: zo’n vierkant statement maakt van een doorgang een tussenstop. Gedrukt op premium fine-art papier dat elke richel en verfstreek haarscherp laat uitkomen.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Botst mosterdgeel met een warm interieur?
Dat hangt af van wat er nog meer warm is. Tegen crèmekleurige muren, eiken vloeren en tan leren meubels voelt het geel als de helderste kleur in dezelfde familie. Tegen terracotta, roest of oranje concurreert het, omdat die kleuren dezelfde rol willen. Als je kamer al een sterk warm accent heeft, kun je dit beter gebruiken in een koelere ruimte met grijs, wit of zwart als basis.
Welke maat moet ik kiezen voor boven een bank?
Richt je op ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van de bank in totaal. Voor een standaard driezitsbank van rond de 200 cm zit één vierkant van 90 tot 100 cm mooi, gecentreerd met de onderrand ongeveer 20 cm boven de rugkussens. Kleiner dan 70 cm en de streken lezen niet meer als verf, en dan oogt het werk meer als een staal dan als het middelpunt van de muur.
Werkt het ook op een gekleurde muur in plaats van wit?
Ja, tot op zekere hoogte. Een lichtgrijze muur is de beste match, omdat de achtergrondkleur bijna verdwijnt en het geel rechtstreeks op het pleisterwerk lijkt te liggen. Antraciet of navy werkt ook en laat de lichte achtergrond bewust als paneel lezen. Vermijd saliegroen, olijf of elke muur met een gele ondertoon, waar de mosterd zijn scherpte verliest en het geheel modderig wordt.
