Over dit kunstwerk
Zes geschilderde strandparasols brengen direct zomer in huis. Het formaat bepaalt de impact: klein geeft een rustig zomers accent in de keuken; groot draagt moeiteloos een hele wand.
De warme, crèmekleurige ondergrond is rustig voor het oog, terwijl de rode, mosterdgele en hemelsblauwe parasols kleur geven zonder te schreeuwen. Lossere krijtkrabbels op de achtergrond zorgen voor een handgetekende, prentenboekachtige sfeer die een strakke, moderne kamer verzacht.
Past vanzelf boven een aanrecht, aan de muur van een ontbijthoek, in de kinderkamer of waar een zonnige hal wat extra’s kan gebruiken. Het staande formaat past makkelijk tussen kasten of naast een deur.
Combineer met geverfd hout, rotan, gestreepte kussens en crèmekleurig aardewerk. Een zwarte of eiken lijst werkt allebei: zwart zet de cartoonachtige contouren aan, eiken verzacht ze.
Zet hem niet naast zware, traditionele bloemmotieven of donkere, formele landschappen; de speelse energie heeft wat ruimte nodig. Gedrukt op dik fine-art papier met rijke, natuurgetrouwe kleuren.

Mat papier betekent geen schittering. Het oogt zacht en natuurlijk, vooral achter glas. Kleuren blijven intens, zonder de glans van glanspapier.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright red and mustard clash with a mostly cream or beige room?
No — the umbrellas sit on a warm cream ground that matches most neutral rooms, so the bright colours read as accents rather than a takeover. If your scheme is already very warm, the sky blue and black-and-white striped umbrella cool it back down.
Is this too childish for a grown-up space like a hallway or kitchen?
It's painterly rather than cartoonish, so it sits well in family kitchens, hallways and breakfast nooks as much as in kids' rooms. The looseness of the brushwork keeps it feeling like art, not nursery decor.
Does the portrait shape work above a kitchen counter, or is landscape better there?
Portrait works well above a counter when you've got a clear stretch of wall between cupboards or beside a window. If your run of wall is wider than it is tall, you may prefer a landscape piece — but in most modern kitchens this portrait shape slots in cleanly.
