How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright blue sky overwhelm a small bedroom?
Not in the medium size. The blue sits inside a frame of warm cream wall and sandy floor, so it reads as one colour block rather than a wash of blue. Above a low chest or headboard it acts as a window, especially with pale linen and warm timber nearby.
Does this work in a north-facing room with cooler light?
Yes. The warm cream wall, sandy floor and mustard touches stop the blue from going cold under north light. If your room is genuinely chilly, lean into warm timber, rattan and a softer bulb temperature to keep the holiday mood intact.
Can I hang it next to other art, or does it need to stand alone?
It can do both. Solo, it reads as a small open window. In a cluster, keep companions painterly and in the same warm cream, sky blue and mustard family — a small botanical or still life works well. Avoid pairing it with dark gothic prints or sharp graphic posters.
