How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink background work in a room that isn't pink?
Yes. The background is a warm, dusty pink rather than a bright one, so it sits happily against off-white, cream, pale grey or greige walls. It also works against a deeper green wall, where the dinosaur reads as a soft silhouette. It's the dark green that anchors the piece, so most neutral rooms take it easily.
Is this too babyish for an older child?
Not really. There's no cartoon face, no speech bubble and no bright primary colour, so it reads as a simple illustrated animal rather than a nursery motif. Plenty of five and six-year-olds keep it up. If you want it to feel older, hang it a little higher and pair it with a name print or a simple map.
How do I turn this into a set for one wall?
Keep it to two or three pieces and let this one lead. Choose companions with the same flat, simple treatment — another single animal, a plain shape print, or a hand-lettered name — and keep the colours inside the soft pink, dark green, cream and tan range. Even spacing of about 5 to 8cm between frames keeps the group calm.
