    Over dit kunstwerk
    Vrolijk en opvallend, zonder poespas. Deze canvas met een blauwe, gevlekte hond op mosterdgeel brengt direct warmte in huis. In een formaat van 70 cm of groter wordt het geel niet alleen achtergrond, maar het warmste element in de ruimte—ideaal bij grijze keukenkastjes en witte tegels. De blauwe hond trekt al vanaf de deuropening de aandacht, en kleintjes zien hem meteen vanaf de vloer. Boven een kinderbedje geeft hij hetzelfde effect als een accentmuur, maar dan met veel minder gedoe. Hang hem op tegen een lichte muur: gebroken wit of krijtgrijs werkt het best. Licht houten meubels pakken het geel mooi op. Ga voor een groot formaat waar verder weinig gebeurt; dáár verdient dit werk zijn plek. Op canvas blijft het geel mooi egaal en is een lijst niet nodig.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Is het geel niet te veel in een kleine keuken?

    In een kleine keuken werkt het beter dan je zou verwachten, zolang de muren eromheen licht blijven. Mosterdgeel op een witte of gebroken witte muur leest als warmte en niet als drukte, en het blauw van de hond koelt het af. Het probleem ontstaat alleen als de kastjes of muren al geel of oranje zijn. Kies dan een andere muur ervoor.

    Welke maat werkt boven een kinderbed?

    Voor een eenpersoonsbed kies je 60 tot 70 cm vierkant en hang je hem gecentreerd met de onderrand ongeveer 20 cm boven het hoofdbord. Op een tweepersoonsbed of een laag cabinbed ziet 80 cm vierkant er nog steeds goed uit. Kleiner dan 50 cm en de hond wordt een kaartje aan de muur, en dat is zonde als het juist om de vrolijkheid gaat.

    Is het alleen voor kinderkamers?

    Nee, hij past net zo goed in een volwassen keuken of gang. De naïeve stijl en de mosterdkleurige ondergrond passen prima bij mid-century meubels, licht hout en simpele witte tegels.
