Deze canvas bruine peer abstract stilleven is gemaakt voor de thuiskok die een keukengevel net zo royaal wil laten ogen als de tafel. In het midden staat een diepe pruimkleurige peer, omlijnd met crème, omringd door vijgen, saliegroene rondjes, bleke knoflookbollen, kleine rode hartjes en madeliefjes op een ondergrond van terracotta en blush. De oliepastelstructuur geeft een losse, handgemaakte uitstraling. De pruim- en espressotinten combineren prachtig met walnoot, donker eiken en verouderd messing; het saliegroen sluit naadloos aan bij linnen en olijfgroene tegels. Door het langwerpige formaat past dit werk perfect boven een dressoir, eettafelbank of bank, idealiter op zo’n tweederde van de meubelbreedte. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Welk formaat werkt het best voor dit perenstilleven?
Ga groot. Het patroon is dicht, met veel kleine hartjes, madeliefjes en lussen tussen het fruit, en die details gaan verloren op kleine formaten. Boven een dressoir of bank mik je op ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van het meubel; op de meeste wanden betekent dat minstens 100 cm breed. De lange horizontale vorm past ook goed op een eetwand waar je één stuk achter de tafel wilt laten lopen.
Welke muurkleuren passen bij het pruim- en terracottapalet?
Warme gebroken wit-, zachte pleisterroze-, oat- en lichtsaliegroene tinten werken goed, omdat ze het blush en groen al in het schilderij terug laten komen en de diepe pruimpeer laten opvallen. Donkere kleuren zoals olijf of bordeaux kunnen werken in een sfeervolle eetkamer, maar vermijd koele grijzen en fel wit, want die laten de warme tinten modderig ogen.
Is het te druk voor een kleine keuken?
Het is een vol, patroonrijk stuk, dus geef het in een kleine keuken een duidelijke eigen wand, liefst boven een aanrechtgedeelte, bankje of open plank met weinig erop. Houd de omliggende vlakken eenvoudig, met rustige tegels en één of twee objecten. Als elke wand al vol staat met planken en keukengerei, gaat het eerder concurreren dan tot rust komen.
