Canvas ‘Cherry on Top’ is gemaakt voor die smalle muur tussen koelkast en tuin. Hang hem solo, hoog en slank: zwart op crème staat sterk tegen witte tegels en een marmeren werkblad, en is vanaf de eettafel nog perfect leesbaar. Geef hem de volle hoogte van de wand. Op 40 cm breed oogt hij speels, op 70 cm wordt hij de gastheer. In de winter blijft hij werken: een kers op een bol ijs belooft dat de zomer terugkomt. Houd de omgeving rustig. Geen kleur ernaast: een zwarte kruk, een eenvoudig linnen doek, en de ruimte lijkt doordacht ingericht. Opgespannen op canvas hangt hij zonder glas, dus geen storende reflecties van keukenlicht.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Lijkt hij verloren op een hoge muur in de hal?
Het omgekeerde is meestal het probleem. Het hoge formaat is gemaakt voor een smalle muur, dus kies het formaat op basis van de muurhoogte en niet de breedte. Op een muur van 2,4 meter vult een print van rond de 100 cm hoog, opgehangen met het midden op ooghoogte, de ruimte zonder de plint of het plafond te raken. Onder 60 cm hoog vervagen de fijne lijnen al snel vanaf het einde van een gang.
Botst de crèmekleurige achtergrond met een felwitte keuken?
Nee, het verzacht juist. Tegen spierwitte muren en tegels leest het crème als warm papier in plaats van als een andere kleur, en de zwarte lijn zorgt voor contrast. Houd alles ernaast rustig. Witte tegels, marmer, lichte pleister of zwart metaal passen er goed bij. Een felle kleur op dezelfde muur, zoals een rode waterkoker of een gekleurde achterwand, gaat botsen met de zwarte inkt.
Is het niet te veel een keukenstuk voor in de eetkamer?
Het past juist makkelijk in de eetkamer, vooral tussen twee ramen of op de smalle muur naast een dressoir. Het onderwerp is een dessert in een glas, dus het voelt meer bar- of dinerachtig dan echt kookachtig. In een eetkamer verdient het zijn plek ’s avonds, wanneer een enkele hanglamp de zwarte lijn uitlicht en de rest van de muur rustig wordt.
