Dit is jouw oktoberstuk. Hang deze canvas boven het bed en je hebt meteen Halloween in huis – zonder plastic pompoenen. De crèmekleur blijft zacht tegen een krijtwitte muur, terwijl de zwarte achtergrond het contrast geeft. In november laat je hem gewoon hangen. Door de dikke verfstreken lezen de spoken van een afstand als textuur; in januari oogt het als folk art in plaats van feestdecor.
Tip voor styling: linnen beddengoed, één nachtkastje van donker hout, en niets oranjes in de buurt.
Kies de juiste breedte. Rond 1 meter vult hij mooi de ruimte boven een tweepersoons hoofdbord en sluiten de drie vormen aan bij de kussens. Kleiner dan dat werkt hij al snel alleen als grappige noot op een plank.
Op canvas blijven de grove penseelstreken mooi zichtbaar, met hun eigen schaduwen. Het doek hangt strak, direct uit de doos.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Komt dit niet vreemd over als Halloween voorbij is?
Minder dan je denkt. Het zwart-crèmepalet is hetzelfde palet dat de meeste slaapkamers en keukens al hebben, dus de print werkt het grootste deel van het jaar als grafisch stuk. De seizoenssfeer komt en gaat met wat eromheen staat. Haal in november de pompoenen van tafel en het voelt weer als een getextureerd, licht vreemd schilderij van drie vormen.
Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een tweepersoonsbed?
Richt je op ongeveer de breedte van het hoofdbord of iets smaller. Voor een standaard tweepersoonsbed is dat ongeveer 100 tot 120 cm breed. Door het 2:1-formaat blijft het stuk vrij laag, waardoor het onder een laag plafond past zonder de kussens te verdringen. Houd ongeveer 15 cm tussen het hoofdbord en de onderrand, en houd de nachtkastjes vrij zodat er aan de zijkanten niets concurreert.
Maakt de zwarte ondergrond een kamer donkerder?
Op een witte muur met voldoende daglicht niet. De crèmekleurige figuren beslaan een derde van het oppervlak en kaatsen licht terug, en de donkere ondergrond leest als een scherp vlak in plaats van een gat. In een kleine slaapkamer op het noorden met één raam kan het de muur zwaarder maken, dus hang het tegenover het raam of kies een kamer met meer licht.
