Hang het een handbreedte boven de rugkussens en bijna over de volle breedte van de zitting. Pak de stoffige roze tint uit de hoeden subtiel op – één kussen is genoeg. Laat de rest in kaki, crème en donker hout. Walnoot in een salontafel of bijzettafel brengt warmte in de hoek. Houd de muur rustig: warm gebroken wit of zachte klei. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wordt het roze niet te zoet in een volwassen woonkamer?
Het roze is stoffig en vergrijsd, dichter bij pleister dan bij suiker, en de pruim, mosterd en khaki eromheen houden het in balans. Tegen een gebroken witte muur leest het warm in plaats van meisjesachtig. Houd andere roze tinten uit de kamer en het blijft volwassen. Het wordt alleen zoeter naast lichtblush muren, dus kies daar liever een warmere muurkleur.
Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een bank?
Richt op ongeveer twee derde van de bankbreedte, dus grofweg 120 tot 140 cm voor een standaard driezitsbank. Smaller dan dat en de drie figuren worden ornamenten, met lege muur aan weerszijden. Hang het 15 tot 20 cm boven de rugkussens. Bij een kleinere tweezitsbank kom je uit op ongeveer 100 cm en houd je dezelfde afstand aan.
Werkt dit in een slaapkamer of is het echt een woonkamerstuk?
Het werkt in beide, al vraagt de slaapkamer om het grotere formaat. Boven een kingsize bed past de lange vorm netjes binnen de breedte van het hoofdbord en de gedempte kleuren maken de muur rustiger. In een woonkamer verdient het zijn plek boven de bank en draagt het een brede muur alleen. Kies de kamer met het warmere licht, want in koel noorderlicht wordt de khaki flets.
