    Over dit kunstwerk
    Hang deze canvas boven het dressoir. Niet boven de bank en niet in de hal, maar bij de echte kaarsen in december, zodat de geschilderde kaarsen ermee in lijn staan. De diepe donkergroene achtergrond combineert prachtig met warm hout; een bovenblad van noten- of mahoniehout laat het dieprood van de appels nog meer spreken. Houd het oppervlak rustig: twee messing kandelaren en een schaal met clementines, geen zilver dat concurreert. Hang de onderrand ongeveer één hand boven het meubel, zodat het beeld bij het dressoir hoort in plaats van erboven te zweven. In januari blijft het hangen. Tegen een effen, geschilderde muur leest het als een donker stilleven in plaats van als decoratie, waardoor de kamer zijn warmte behoudt. Eet eronder. Op canvas komt de penseelstreek mooi naar voren en het doek wordt klaar-om-te-hangen geleverd.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Ziet dit er straks raar uit als de kerstversiering weer weg is?
    Minder dan je zou verwachten.     Welke muurkleur past hier het best bij?
    Donkere verf wint. Flesgroen, diep rood of marine laten de spar bijna samenvallen met de muur, zodat de kaarsen, ballen en duif het werk doen vanaf de andere kant van de kamer. Op een witte muur oogt het zwaarder en meer als een poster. Zijn je muren licht, hang het dan boven donker hout zodat het meubel het een basis geeft.

    Hoe groot moet een vierkant beeld als dit zijn boven een dressoir?
    Richt op ongeveer de helft tot twee derde van de breedte van het dressoir; voor de meeste kasten betekent dat een vierkant van 50 tot 70 cm. Kleiner en de ornamenten vervagen vanaf de tafel tot een patroon. Groter dan dat boven een standaard dressoir en het beeld torent boven de kandelaars uit in plaats van er mooi bij te staan.
