Hang ‘m 30–40 cm breed, gecentreerd boven je werkblad en zo laag dat de onderrand ongeveer een hand boven de lamp eindigt. Het rood knalt tegen diep groen of kalkroze, en oogt rustig op wit. Oud grenen eronder, een groene glazen bureaulamp en een stapel boeken zijn genoeg. Groter gaan haalt de kracht eruit – de charme zit in het dichtbij kijken.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Hoe klein kan ik gaan voordat het niet meer werkt?

    Kleiner dan je misschien denkt. Het onderwerp is geschilderd om van armlengte te bekijken, dus 20 tot 30 cm vierkant werkt boven een bureau of op een plank, en 40 cm is ongeveer de bovengrens voordat de crèmekleurige achtergrond leeg begint te voelen. Wil je meer aanwezigheid op de muur, hang dan liever twee of drie kleine naast elkaar dan één grote.

    Gaat het rood botsen met mijn muurkleur?

    Zelden, omdat er zo weinig van is. Tegen donkergroen of pleisterroze oogt het rood het scherpst en het meest bewust. Op witte of crèmekleurige muren valt het beeld bijna weg in de muur en leest het insect als één enkele markering, wat sommigen juist mooi vinden. De enige lastige combinatie is een sterke oranje-rode muur, waar het insect zijn scherpte verliest.

    Moet het gezelschap hebben of kan het alleen hangen?

    Allebei, voor verschillende ruimtes. Los aan het einde van een gang of boven een bureau werkt het als een kleine punt, en dat is de beste toepassing. In een fotowand moet het het kleinste stuk zijn, dicht bij de rand geplaatst, naast andere natuurhistorische of botanische studies op vergelijkbare crèmekleurige achtergronden zodat het rood de enige felle noot blijft.
