    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Gaat het blauw botsen met mijn keukenkastjes?
    Het blauw is een heldere midden-cornflower, dichter bij een zomerse lucht dan bij navy of teal. Het past prima naast witte, crème, lichtgrijze en navy kastjes. Sage en donkergroene kastjes werken ook, omdat het rood ze opwarmt. De enige combinatie die je beter vermijdt is teal of turquoise, die te dicht bij het blauw ligt en beide tinten wat vreemd laat ogen.

    Welke maat kies ik voor een kleine keuken?
    Ga voor medium, rond 50 tot 60 cm vierkant, aan de muur bij de tafel of aan het einde van een rij kastjes. Kleiner dan dat wordt de glazen beker een ansichtkaart en verdwijnt de grap. Groter werkt alleen als je een vrije muur hebt van minstens een meter en op twee meter afstand kunt staan. In een smalle keuken hang je het aan het verste uiteinde, zodat je het vanaf de deur ziet.

    Past het in een kinderkamer, of is het echt een keukenplaatje?
    Allebei. In een kinderkamer sluiten het rood en blauw aan bij de kleuren die de meeste kinderen al hebben, en leest het onderwerp als iets lekkers in plaats van decoratie. Hang het lager op dan in een keuken, ongeveer op ooghoogte van een kind, en combineer het met effen wit beddengoed. Het groeit met ze mee, omdat de dikke geschilderde stijl voelt als echte kunst in plaats van een print voor de kinderkamer.
