Mooi gehangen verwarmt het een koele ruimte zonder die te dimmen. Staat het beste boven een lage bank, een dressoir of op een schouw met ruimte om te ademen. Combineer met velours of bouclé in olijf of ossenbloedrood, met geleefd leer, noten- of eikenhout en messing accenten die het goud oppakken. Vermijd koele of chroomzware elementen in de buurt — die vechten tegen de warmte. Gespannen op een houten frame, zodat het oppervlak onder lamplicht zijn gloed behoudt.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Maakt de donkere achtergrond een kleine kamer zwaar?
    Minder dan je denkt. De stammen zijn donker, maar de boven- en middenkant van het beeld gloeien goud, waardoor je oog steeds omhoog blijft bewegen. In een kleinere kamer hang je het waar één lamp het na donker kan raken — dan komt het echt tot zijn recht. Combineer met warme muren in plaats van koel grijs om het in balans te houden.

    Schittert het goud echt, of is het gewoon plat gedrukt?
    Het is geprint, niet met folie, dus er is geen metallic glans — maar de warme tinten en het hoge contrast geven onder lamplicht wel een echte gloed. Het effect leest als goud in plaats van glans, waardoor het ook overdag werkt en niet vlekkerig wordt onder vreemde hoeken zoals echte folie soms doet.

    Is het vierkante formaat beter boven een bank of een dressoir?
    Beide werken. Boven een dressoir of console hangt het gecentreerd en rustig, met de stammen mooi in lijn met het meubel eronder. Boven een bank kies je groot — minstens twee derde van de bankbreedte — en laat je een duidelijke ruimte boven eventuele kussens, zodat de donkere basis van het schilderij niet krap oogt.
