Het groen ligt dichter bij een lentelawn dan bij een dennenbos, en het crème­kleurige zand leest als warm pleisterwerk in plaats van wit verf. Hang hem in een werkkamer boven een walnoot- of licht eiken bureau en je ziet het hout elk uur rijker worden. Kleine accenten van koraal en mosterd in de bomen pakken mooi op met cognackleurig leer of een camel plaid aan de overkant van de kamer. Vermijd helder, koel wit als het kan; kies liever krijtwit of een zachte steen­toontint zodat de warmte tot in de hoeken doorloopt. In een gang werkt hij als een raam – ideaal als daar geen daglicht is. Op canvas komt de dikke verf tot leven als echte textuur, zonder glas ertussen.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Botst dit met salie- of olijfkleurige muren?
    Dat kan wat onrustig voelen. Het groen hier helt naar geel en is vrij helder, dichter bij vers gras dan bij salie, dus tegen een olijfmuur oogt het feller dan nodig. Off-white, warme steen en licht pleisterwerk laten het beter tot rust komen. Een donkere marineblauwe muur werkt ook en laat het zand oplichten. Is je kamer al groen, hang hem dan liever in de hal.

    Is dit niet te speels voor een formele studeerkamer?
    Het leest eerst als een schilderij en pas daarna als een golftafereel, en dat houdt het weg van het man cave-gevoel. Van een afstand zie je dikke verf, een curve van crème en een vlak groen. De figuren vallen pas van dichtbij op. Boven een walnoten bureau met een tan stoel staat hij sterk naast boeken en een goede lamp.

    Van welke richting moet het licht komen?
    Het liefst van opzij. De hele scène draait om een harde schaduw van de steile wand van de bunker, en een raam links of rechts van de muur laat echt licht op dezelfde manier vallen, zodat de geschilderde schaduw natuurlijk oogt. Vermijd een spotlight recht van boven, want die maakt de textuur vlak en het zand krijtachtig. Middagzon past hier het best.
