    Over dit kunstwerk
    Laat dit geen klein kerstplaatje zijn. Op 60 cm vierkant hangt de bal als een echt ornament aan de muur. Het diepe groen voelt niet als versiering, maar als een rustige kleurvlak die de ruimte draagt. Vooral in de hal werkt dit sterk: tegenover de voordeur verwelkomt één stille groene vorm je gasten – veel rustiger dan een plank vol slingers. Combineer met een krijtwitte of warme pleistermuur, zodat de saliegroene achtergrond erin wegvalt en de bladeren het werk doen. Licht eiken vloer eronder versterkt het geheel. In de keuken kun je kleiner gaan: 40 cm boven het aanrecht is genoeg, waar het witte strikje mooi het daglicht vangt. Hoe dan ook: geef het stuk ruimte. Eén bal aan de muur maakt een helder focuspunt. Op canvas verliest de saliegroene achtergrond zijn glans en oogt hij als een geschilderde muur – ideaal voor een hal.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Botst de saliegroene achtergrond met mijn muurkleur?
    Salie past goed bij gebroken wit, warm wit, lichtgrijs en de meeste lichte groentinten, dus op zulke muren verdwijnt de ondergrond bijna en lijkt de diep groene kerstbal te zweven. Middentinten blauw en terracotta zijn de kleuren om op te letten, omdat het gedempte groen daar wat flets naast kan lijken. Op een donkergroene muur werkt het verrassend goed, met de lichte ondergrond als zacht vlak.

    Kan ik dit ook buiten december ophangen?
    Ja, langer dan de meeste kerstbeelden. Zonder rood, goud of glitter leest het meer als een winterse bladvorm dan als iets puur feestelijks, waardoor het van eind november tot februari kan blijven hangen zonder uit seizoen te voelen. Veel mensen hangen het op zodra de boom staat en halen het weg wanneer de eerste narcissen opkomen, en dat is een logische timing.

    Werkt dit op zichzelf of heeft het andere seizoensstukken nodig?
    Het komt het sterkst uit als los werk op een vrije muur, waar de ene kerstbal de enige feestelijke noot in de ruimte wordt. Wil je een groep, houd het dan bij twee of drie rustige metgezellen in groen en gebroken wit, zoals een simpele dennetak of een getekende krans, en laat alles rood of glinsterends buiten de combinatie.
