    Hang ’m groter dan je denkt. Op 60 cm zie je de heks als een subtiel detail waar je dichterbij voor komt. Ga naar 90 cm en zij wordt de reden dat de hal bestaat, terwijl het gebrande oranje van de bomen de hele muur verwarmt in plaats van één hoek. De houtskoolgrijze lucht staat prachtig tegen offwhite stuc. Donker geschilderde lambrisering kan ook, als je het maanlicht het werk wilt laten doen. Geef ’m de muur tegenover de voordeur, zodat de weg naar binnenlopende gasten toe loopt. Houd de console eronder rustig: één lage kaars, geen oranje. Kleinere formaten werken goed in een studeerkamer, op ooghoogte boven het bureau, waar je elke week een nieuwe vleermuis ontdekt. In ruimtes waar mensen langslopen vraagt dit werk om groot. Op canvas lopen de donkere randen naadloos over in de muur en leest het geheel als een schilderij.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Ziet het er niet te seizoensgebonden uit om na Halloween te laten hangen?
    Het leest eerst als herfst en daarna als Halloween. De heks is klein en de pompoen staat in een hoekje, dus van een afstand zie je een maanverlicht dorp in oranje en grijs. De meeste mensen hangen het begin september op en halen het weg zodra de klok wordt verzet, al blijft het in een donkere hal met groene of pruimkleurige muren tot aan kerst prima overeind.

    Welke maat moet ik kiezen voor een hal?
    Ga groter. In een smalle hal zie je het vanaf de voordeur, vaak op drie meter afstand, en op die afstand gaat een middelgrote maat ten koste van het figuurtje op de weg. Een vierkante maat van 70 tot 90 cm vult de muur boven een console en houdt de maan en kerktoren goed leesbaar. Laat aan beide kanten minstens 10 cm vrije muur zodat de donkere lucht de deuropening niet te veel omarmt.

    Maakt de donkere lucht een kleine kamer donkerder?
    Minder dan je zou denken. Het houtskool neemt ongeveer een derde van het beeld in, en de verlichte ramen, de maan en de lichte weg kaatsen warmte terug de kamer in. Op een witte muur is het contrast scherp en springt het oranje eruit. Op een diepe groene of pruimkleurige muur vloeit de lucht in de verf weg en voelt de kamer knus in plaats van somber.
