    Over dit kunstwerk
    Veel woonkamers missen een stukje lucht. Plafonds blijven wit, muren grijsbeige, en niets in de ruimte verandert mee met het avondlicht. Hang dit boven de bank en de kamer krijgt zijn schemering terug. De perzikkleur in de wolken wordt warmer onder lamplicht na zonsondergang, terwijl het lila overdag mooi afsteekt tegen een grijze muur. Combineer met linnen in haver- of steentinten, een laag notenhouten dressoir ernaast, en het olijfgroen van het moeras sluit aan op elke kamerplant in de buurt. Geef het werk een eigen muur. Dikke verf heeft ruimte nodig, en op 60 cm vierkant lezen de penseelstreken als weer, niet als textuur. In een noordkamer doet dit meer dan een warme verfkleur ooit deed.     Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Worden het roze en lila niet te zoet in een volwassen woonkamer?

    Het olijfkleurige moeras en de lichtgrijze lucht houden het in balans. Ongeveer een derde van het beeld is gedempt groen en grijs, waardoor het roze aanvoelt als avondlicht en niet als kinderkamerkleur.     Welke muurkleuren laten de lucht het mooist uitkomen?

    Warm gebroken wit is het veiligst. Dat laat het perzik oplichten en houdt het lila zacht. Een middengrijze tint werkt ook goed, omdat het grijs in de lucht aansluit op de muur en de wolken ervoor lijken te zweven. Vermijd sterk roze, paars of koraalkleurige muren, die de wolken opslokken, en vermijd fel wit in koud licht, omdat de pasteltinten dan kalkachtig worden.

    Ziet het er nog goed uit onder warme lampen in de avond?

    Juist beter. Warme lampen halen het perzik en geel naar voren en verzachten het lila, waardoor het beeld ’s avonds als een zonsondergang in de kamer leest in plaats van een schildering ervan. Overdag neemt de grijze lucht de overhand en wordt de sfeer rustiger. Koelwitte ledstrips zijn het enige om te vermijden, omdat die de roze tinten vlak en mauve maken.
