    Een diepe, heldere blauwtoon die je direct de kamer in trekt. Eerst zie je het blauw, daarna pas de kliffen en het kleine eiland. De warme gloed in de lucht houdt het geheel vriendelijk en niet kil. Hang dit canvas op de muur tegenover de deur – boven een bank in havermoutkleurig linnen of boven een lage sidetable van licht hout. De perziktint in het gesteente sluit mooi aan bij terracotta in een plantenpot eronder. Een warm witte muur is de beste basis; grijs laat het blauw onrustig ogen. Kies een formaat waarbij het meer breder is dan je schouders. Te klein oogt het als een ansichtkaart en verlies je de impact. Laat de muur verder leeg voor maximale rust. Op canvas komt de levendige, penseelachtige textuur van het water prachtig naar voren, zelfs van dichtbij.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Blijft dat diepe blauw ook mooi in een kamer op het noorden?
    Ja, en misschien zelfs beter. Koel noorderlicht maakt warme kleuren vaak vlakker, maar een verzadigd blauw behoudt zijn diepte, en de zandkleurige lucht voorkomt dat het koel oogt. Hang het aan de muur tegenover het raam in plaats van ernaast, zodat het licht gelijkmatig over het hele vierkant valt. Warmwitte of zandkleurige verf achter het werk is belangrijker dan de oriëntatie van de kamer.

    Botst het met een navy bank?
    Niet als je de twee blauwtinten wat afstand geeft. Hang het boven de bank en het fellere meerblauw staat tegen de muur, niet tegen de bekleding, zodat het navy eronder leest als een donkerdere basis in plaats van een concurrent. Voeg een of twee kussens in roest of verbrande oranje toe om de zon en kliffen terug te laten komen in de zithoek. Vermijd nog een derde blauw in de ruimte.

    Werkt een vierkant in een hal, of moet het een liggend formaat zijn?
    Een vierkant werkt heel goed op de muur aan het einde van een hal, waar je er recht op uitkijkt als je ernaartoe loopt. Aan de lange zijmuren staat een vierkant vaak beter dan een liggend formaat, omdat het tussen deuren past. Kies een formaat van ongeveer 50 tot 60 cm zodat het ook van de andere kant opvalt, en houd de muur eromheen rustig.
