Breng diepte en rust in je interieur met ‘With Umbrella’ van Paul Klee op canvas. Tegen kalkmatte wanden krijgt het leisteenblauw een koele, diepe toon, terwijl het roestrood naar voren treedt als een gloed in de haard. De muur wordt achtergrond; het werk neemt de ruimte over.
Hang het op een smalle strook naast de trap of tussen de voordeur en de kapstok, bij voorkeur rond 80 cm hoog. Korter, en de figuur verliest zijn stap. Houd de vloer rustig – houten delen of een antracietloper – en laat mosterdgeel het enige felle accent in de gang zijn. Lichte muren zorgen voor kalmte. Klee zet de beweging.
Op canvas geeft het matte oppervlak de krijtachtige ondergrond een echte, geschilderde uitstraling – verf blijft verf, geen plaatje van verf.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Maakt de donker blauwgrijze ondergrond een kleine hal donkerder?
Minder dan je zou verwachten. De ondergrond is meer middengrijs leigrijs dan echt marine, en tegen een gebroken witte of lichtgrijze muur oogt hij als een koel vlak met warme accenten in plaats van een gat in de muur. Houd de muur erachter licht en mat, en hang het werk op waar daglicht erbij komt. Donkere muren zijn waar het begint weg te zakken.
Hoe groot moet ik gaan op een trapwand?
Richt op 80 tot 100 cm hoog. De verhoudingen zijn één op twee, dus een print van 90 cm hoog is slechts ongeveer 45 cm breed, wat op de meeste trapwanden en bordessen past zonder de leuning te benauwen. Plaats het midden op ooghoogte vanaf de onderkant van de trap, niet vanaf het bordes, zodat de figuur je begroet als je binnenkomt in plaats van als je wegloopt.
Botsen het roestrood en mosterdgeel met een warm ingerichte kamer?
In een kamer van terracotta, roze of warm crème oogt de leigrijze ondergrond koel en gaan de accenten verloren. Het werkt beter waar de muren grijs, gebroken wit of stoffig blauw zijn en de warmte uit één of twee textielsoorten komt. Een roestkleurig kussen of een mosterdkleurige plaid in de buurt is genoeg. Meer dan dat en de accenten stoppen met accenten zijn.
