    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Botst de roze achtergrond met warmwitte of crèmekleurige muren?
    Hij komt op beide goed uit. De achtergrond is een stoffig, iets bruin roze in plaats van een fel roze, dus hij oogt warm naast crème-, oat- en puttymuren. Op koelere grijswitte muren lijkt hij iets roziger, wat nog steeds prima is. Als je muren sterk geel zijn, hang hem dan aan de muur die het minst direct zonlicht krijgt.

    Blijft het detail nog leesbaar in een kleiner formaat?
    De pauw en de bloeiende struiken blijven op klein formaat goed zichtbaar, maar de dunne bloesemtakken in de bovenste helft beginnen onder ongeveer 40 cm vierkant te vervagen. Als je alleen plek hebt voor een klein formaat, hang hem dan waar mensen dicht langs lopen, zoals in een hal of naast een bureau, in plaats van hoog boven een bank.

    Moet het als paar worden opgehangen om bewust te ogen?
    Nee. Het is een complete tuinscène met zijn eigen beweging van links naar rechts, dus één vierkant werkt prima als los stuk. Wil je toch twee werken, hang dan een tweede decoratief stuk op hetzelfde formaat met een duidelijke tussenruimte, en houd de tweede rustiger zodat de pauw het eerste is waar je oog op valt.
