    Geef deze plek naast je kaptafel betekenis. Die smalle strook muur tussen spiegel en kledingkast blijft vaak leeg omdat niets past – dit wel. Hang de canvas zo dat de onderrand gelijk is aan het tafelblad. Ochtendlicht van opzij pakt de roze tinten op en verwarmt de hele hoek. Durf je? Verf de muur diepgroen. Offwhite kan ook, maar groen laat de bloemen lijken alsof ze daar groeien. Plaats eronder één velvet kruk in poederroze en zet op de tafel één klein messingen schaaltje. Verder niets aan die muur. Kies een hoogte van minstens 90 cm; anders worden de stelen een patroon en verliest de ruimte de beloofde lengte. Als canvas heeft het geen glas, dus het zijlicht kaatst niet terug in de spiegel en je houdt een rustige, zachte uitstraling.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Maakt de donkere achtergrond mijn hal donkerder?
    Minder dan je zou verwachten. De roze en crèmekleurige bloemen zitten hoog in het beeld en vangen al het licht dat de hal heeft, waardoor je oog ernaartoe gaat in plaats van naar de ondergrond. In een donkere gang helpt één kleine lamp of zorg je dat het glas in de voordeur helder is, en hang je het aan de muur die als eerste licht pakt. Tegen gebroken wit oogt het als diepte, niet als somberheid.

    Kan ik er twee aan weerszijden van een deuropening hangen?
    Ja, en de hoge vorm past daar goed bij. Twee identieke werken aan weerszijden van een deur of schouw geven een hal of woonkamer een rustige, symmetrische uitstraling. Houd de afstand tot het deurkozijn aan beide kanten gelijk, hang ze op dezelfde hoogte en laat de muur boven de deur leeg zodat het paar zelf het kader vormt.

    Hoe hoog moet ik gaan op een trapbordes?
    Ga groter dan je instinct zegt. Een muur op een bordes zie je meestal van onderaf en van twee of drie meter afstand, dus alles onder de 90 cm hoog verliest de losse bloemen. Bij 100 tot 120 cm hoog zijn de stelen vanaf de onderste trede goed te zien en vult het werk de muur zonder de plafondlijn te raken. Centreer het op de muur, niet op de trap.
