Het patroon is ooit getekend voor gordijnen: hang je het maar 60 cm breed, dan oogt het als een klein staal en krimpen de vogels tot knoopjes. Ga je richting een meter of meer, dan zakt het diepe blauw mooi in de muur en krijgt de kamer als het ware een nieuw hoofdbord. Perfect boven een bed in een ruimte met crème muren en linnen beddengoed.
De roze en mosterdgele accenten lopen over de volle breedte, waardoor nachtkastjes en accessoires niet hoeven te matchen. Donker hout zorgt voor balans: noten of oud grenen past, licht eiken oogt iel. Eén kussen in zacht pleisterroze is genoeg. Op canvas krijgt het blauw dankzij het doek de textiele uitstraling die Morris bedoelde.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Maakt het diepe blauw mijn slaapkamer donkerder?
Alleen als de muren al grijs zijn of de kamer op het noorden ligt en weinig licht krijgt. In een crème- of saliekamer wijkt het blauw terug en doen het roze en mosterd het werk, waardoor de muur warm oogt in plaats van donker. Bedlampjes op hoogte helpen, omdat de vogels dan het licht vangen en het patroon ’s avonds mooier uitkomt.
Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een kingsize bed?
Neem dezelfde breedte als het hoofdbord, of iets breder, meestal 120 cm tot 150 cm. Smaller en het patroon oogt als een staal aan de muur. Laat een handbreedte tussen het hoofdbord en de onderrand. Omdat de herhaling van rand tot rand loopt, leest het goed vanaf de deuropening en vanaf je kussen.
Werkt dit in een eetkamer met een donkere tafel?
Heel goed. Donker eiken of notenhout eronder pakt de indigobasis op, en kaarslicht laat het koraalroze oplichten. Hang het lager dan je in een woonkamer zou doen, zodat het middelpunt op zithoogte komt. Houd de tafelsetting rustig in crème of salie en sla patronen over, die botsen met de vogels.
